Concertgebouw Brugge - Art and marketing in harmony

In the hometown of Bits of Love shines our partner Concertgebouw Brugge. Concertgebouw is a world player in music and modern dance. But they do more than that. In this building, artists from different disciplines gather, creative and innovative impulses blow around, and a diverse audience is touched again and again. Since September 2017, Concertgebouw is fully accessible for public, also during the day.

A double goal

For the full public opening of the building, a new trail was designed for the visitors. Concertgebouw Brugge wanted a spot in this trail where kids and adults can do something creative. The themes were: abstract noises and the building’s architecture. The goal of the interaction was not only to challenge the creativity of the visitors, but also to support the marketing of Concertgebouw Brugge.

A musical postcard

We created an app installation in the trail, where visitors can make digital audio postcards. With noises and architectural elements of the concert hall, you can put a personal postcard together. You can send this musical postcard to family and friends.

More than creative

We invented a creative concept, suitable for the marketing of Concertgebouw Brugge and within technical and budgetary limits:

- In a pleasant way, we merged the creative aspect for visitors and the marketing goal for Concertgebouw Brugge. The postcards made by visitors are sent to people outside the building, who get to know Concertgebouw in an unstrained manner.

- The application is built in React Native, the newest thing in efficient mobile applications.

- We are a convinced partner of Concertgebouw Brugge, bringing life and music in our city. That’s why we were able to help them with our expertise, despite of a limited budget.

Thousands of postcards

In the first months, visitors made about 1750 postcards in the music hall. Almost 900 people were happily surprised to find a musical postcard in their mailbox. An extra marketing benefit: Concertgebouw Brugge can adjust the emails (and landing page for externals) with new information. The application can be applied in other spaces and on different hardware.
