New app 2.0 full of innovation for Club Brugge fans
Club Brugge is a pioneer in the football world with a strong digital brand and a close-knit community of supporters. Thanks to its well-established social media channels, the club was even able to host a virtual champion celebration in full lockdown. The introduction of the Club ID and many innovations in the app make this story complete.
The work behind the scenes: data & project management
As a digital partner, Bits of Love was responsible for the strategy, design and development of the new app and the central management system. In addition to this, we implement the coordination and analysis, so that Club Brugge was taken care of completely. As well as managing large amounts of data, we integrated partners such as SportsAlliance, Twikey, Ticketmaster and Playpass. Our expertise in large custom data lakes and data interfaces came into its own here.
The love for beautiful interfaces & user experience
In addition, the information architecture and interface design were overhauled. A crucial part of this was the Club ID, Club Brugge’s new loyalty system that will be introduced from next season. In the app, you can monitor your rewards in real-time and top up your Club ID Card. The ‘Live Matchday Experience’ has also been expanded with even more unique real-time statistics.

Finally, digital access to the stadium provided via the app offers an extensive Kids section and useful ticket functions such as ‘sell your seat’.

Of course, corona and the lockdown threatened to throw a spanner in the works. Nevertheless, we managed to handle an extremely tight turnaround time of just six months. Thanks to the clear digital focus at Club Brugge, and our complementary expertise, this remains a collaboration full of ‘love’. With over 5500 reviews, and an average score of 4.8÷5, the app is also highly appreciated by supporters. And that’s why we do it.
