New app 2.0 full of inno­va­tion for Club Brugge fans

Club Brugge is a pio­neer in the foot­ball world with a strong dig­i­tal brand and a close-knit com­mu­ni­ty of sup­port­ers. Thanks to its well-estab­lished social media chan­nels, the club was even able to host a vir­tu­al cham­pi­on cel­e­bra­tion in full lock­down. The intro­duc­tion of the Club ID and many inno­va­tions in the app make this sto­ry complete.

The work behind the scenes: data & project management

As a dig­i­tal part­ner, Bits of Love was respon­si­ble for the strat­e­gy, design and devel­op­ment of the new app and the cen­tral man­age­ment sys­tem. In addi­tion to this, we imple­ment the coor­di­na­tion and analy­sis, so that Club Brugge was tak­en care of com­plete­ly. As well as man­ag­ing large amounts of data, we inte­grat­ed part­ners such as Sport­sAl­liance, Twikey, Tick­et­mas­ter and Play­pass. Our exper­tise in large cus­tom data lakes and data inter­faces came into its own here.

The love for beau­ti­ful inter­faces & user experience

In addi­tion, the infor­ma­tion archi­tec­ture and inter­face design were over­hauled. A cru­cial part of this was the Club ID, Club Brugge’s new loy­al­ty sys­tem that will be intro­duced from next sea­son. In the app, you can mon­i­tor your rewards in real-time and top up your Club ID Card. The Live Match­day Expe­ri­ence’ has also been expand­ed with even more unique real-time statistics.

Final­ly, dig­i­tal access to the sta­di­um pro­vid­ed via the app offers an exten­sive Kids sec­tion and use­ful tick­et func­tions such as sell your seat’.
